Jerry Palmer - a casino cheater

The first cheating experience

Jerry Palmer was born in 1948 and first he got interested in gambling when he was in army. However, while he was in army he did not know a lot about this and was not interested in any casino cheating methods . His knowledge of casino cheating first came from Duke Swenson, who was his high school friend. Jerry Palmer was given a honorable discharge from the Army when he met Duke Swenson in California.

Duke Swenson himself had been in a small time marijuana business in San Francisco and had been running a Pastposting team on the side. Duke Swenson in turn had met Joe Classon some time back. Duke, Classon and Duke's girlfriend had then formed a team and had made quite a lot of money at casinos in Reno and Las Vegas using pastposting. Jerry heard of his friend's account and was fascinated with the lure of big money and agreed to join them.

A member of a pastposting team

Jerry Palmer had been a part of the Classon pastposting team which had worked solely on crap and roulette tables in 1969 and in 1970. They made several trips to the casinos and it was during one such trip that Jerry had suggested using pastposting on blackjack tables too. However, the others had dismissed the idea since it was very risky because the dealers in blackjack are usually very attentive and very close to the players. However, Jerry on his own went to a blackjack table and very confidently tried his first cheating move in the Aladdin casino in Las Vegas while the other team members looked surprised.

Jerry not only cheated at one table, but at every blackjack table at the casino and was paid using the same technique. He initially began using the $100 chips but he soon moved up to the $500 and then the $1000 chips for cheating. Jerry had been incredibly successful at his cheating technique and had a more than 95% rate of payout. Since then, blackjack had become the main area of pastposting for the team and it had been used by them for years.

Later, Jerry had become a major drug addict and had quit the team and cheating casino business. Two years after he left the business, he died of an overdose in 1994. Jerry Palmer is known to be the inventor of the blackjack move in pastposting which has been tried by thousands of players since then and has won millions of dollars by blackjack cheating .
